Amidst the blitz of SoftBank earnings news now comes the financials for everybody of SoftBank’s subsidiaries, which comprises Arm Holdings, the main chip layout and research firm in the worlds which SoftBank purchased for $32 billion back from 2016. Arm generates nearly all of the primary layouts for the processors which operate the current smartphones, such as Apple’s A13 Bionic chip which forces its flagship iPhone. In all, 22.8 billion processors were sent globally annually with Arm permits based on SoftBank’s financials.

It’s a hugely significant firm, and its financing show a complex image for itself and the semiconductor business at large.
