Bags of marijuana found at Brooklyn shooting that left one dead

Duffel bags stuffed full of marijuana were found by cops early Friday after responding to a fatal shooting in Brooklyn, The Post has learned.

Cops were called to 42 Brighton 4th Ct. in Brighton Beach just before 2:30 a.m. for reports of gunfire, police said.

A 46-year-old man was found shot in the stomach and a 30-year-old man shot in the leg were found by police, according to the NYPD.

Two large bags of weed, multiple weapons and cash were discovered inside the house.

The 46-year-old, whose name was not released, was rushed to Coney Island Hospital where he died, according to cops. The other man was recovering at NYU Langone on Friday.

Photos from the scene show duffel bags of marijuana being tagged as evidence by cops.

Police sources said cops recovered cash, drug paraphernalia, two guns and multiple shell casings at the scene.

Sources believe a trio of men rolled up to the house in an SUV, went inside and started firing after a dispute. The trio took off on foot, leaving the vehicle at the house, sources added.

It was unclear what the dispute was over, police said.
