Bradley Beal's First Statement After Missing Out on All-NBA Team Shows His Class and Maturity

The All-NBA teams are out for the 2019-20 season and fans are going mad over the Washington Wizards star being snubbed. Bradley Beal has been overlooked by the voters once again.

Earlier this season, Beal was snubbed from his third all-star selection, even though he was averaging astronomical numbers. Brad finished the season averaging 30.5 points per game while shooting 45% from the field.

Although the Wizards missed the Playoffs, it was not because of a lack of effort by the 27-year-old. In fact, Beal’s surge of offense was the only good thing for Wizard’s poor season. Being ignored by the voters for an All-NBA team would be very disheartening for any player.

But Beal proved that he is not only a great player but a great human being as well. Beal showed off his class by congratulating his close friend Jayson Tatum, who made the All-NBA third team for his efforts in the regular season. He definitely deserves the accolade, as he has been instrumental for the Celtics.

While Beal handled the snub valiantly, his wife Kamiah Adams-Beal ranted out following the event. Kamiah called out voters for their decision to leave out Beal even after such an amazing season.

Kamiah lashed out, and it was clear how upset she was by the decision. Honestly, this reaction was no surprise, considering Beal’s performances all year. Beal’s 30.5 ppg became the third most by a player in NBA history to miss an All-NBA selection, according to ESPN Stats & Info.

Twitter reacts to Bradley Beal missing an All-NBA team selection

Apart from Beal’s wife, many fans and analysts felt the same emotion regarding the snub. Twitter was full of fans lashing out on the officials for ignoring Beal’s heroics.

Furthermore, the situation is bad for Beal’s Wizards. With superstar John Wall missing most of the last two seasons, the burden is on Beal’s shoulder. As a matter of fact, Beal welcomed the responsibility with open arms. But there’s only so much a single-player can do for a team.

If John Wall stays healthy in the next season, maybe the fortunes will turn around for the franchise. But Wall might take some time to get his touch back after missing so many games.

Till then, the Wizards will be Beal’s team unless he demands a trade and compete for a championship with a different team for the remainder of his prime.
