Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War: Pre-Download the Early Access Beta Build of the Game Today

The Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War closed alpha build concluded recently as players got a taste of what the game holds in store. Although it received a mixed bag of reviews, the community is eagerly awaiting its release. The wait will finally be over on the 13th of November this year. However, players can pre-download the beta build of the CoD Black Ops Cold War on PS4, starting today.

The official Call of Duty Twitter handle announced yesterday that the pre-download for the early access will start from today.

In a separate tweet, Treyarch mentioned that the early access to the beta will begin at 6 pm UK time on Thursday, the 8th of October, and will end on Friday, the 9th of October. However, to access the pre-download of this early access, players will have to pre-order the game digitally.

The beta build of the game will be available to all PS4 users over the weekend, i.e. the 10th through the 12th of October.

Finally, the beta build of CoD BOCW will be available on all the platforms for everyone from the 17th to the 19th of October.

What will the early access beta build of Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War include?

There has not been any official announcement regarding the content of the beta build of the game. However, we can make a fair assumption from the trailer of the beta version. Players can expect some fan-favorite game modes including team deathmatch, domination, kill confirmed, etc. In addition to this, the beta version will also most likely include the new modes ‘VIP Escort’ and ‘Combined Arms.’

Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War has been one of the most anticipated titles of the year. It remains to be seen if it manages to shine while Modern Warfare and Warzone are both still in their prime.
