Conor McGregor Says He Beat Up Khabib Nurmagomedov's Brother And Cousin in a Fresh Rant

Conor McGregor is extremely active on social media. The Irish superstar does not shy away from sharing his thoughts on anything and everything to do with the fight game. This has also landed him in trouble a lot of the times, as he has crossed lines quite a lot.

The Irish superstar has been very vocal about getting a rematch with Khabib ever since his loss at UFC 229. ‘The Notorious’ maintains that he did not do as bad as the media and fans portray it to be. Also, a re-match would be extremely different, according to the man himself.

Conor McGregor claims he won a few rounds against Khabib

Conor McGregor has been responding to Tweets over the past few hours about his performance at UFC 229. ‘The Notorious’ has gone on to state that he won 3 out of 4 rounds against Khabib Nurmagomedov and also gave reasons for his reasoning.

In response, a fan posted a picture of a desolate McGregor following the stoppage. The caption said, “This is the face of a man who won 3 out of 4 against Khabib.” McGregor replied saying, “Ye, not a scratch. Relaxing before I bounced up and bet his brother and his cousin round”.

In his fight against Khabib Nurmagomedov, Conor landed 51 significant strikes with an accuracy of 62%, landing 96 total strikes. Though he was out struck by Khabib in terms of volume, ‘The Notorious’ was able to land his shots more accurately. This is not surprising, given McGregor is one of the finest strikers to have ever graced the sport.

The Irish superstar last fought in January this year at UFC 246. Though he has wanted to fight again this year, the inability to secure a fight had left him disgruntled and forced him to ‘retire’. However, it looks as though Conor will face former rival Dustin Poirier early next year.

MMA fans and Conor himself will hope a win against Dustin Poirier would be enough to grant him a re-match with Khabib Nurmagomedov. However, the Dagestani fighter has maintained he has no interest in facing ‘The Notorious’.
