Many exciting games are to release this year. Perhaps one of the most awaited games in recent years would be the new title in the Halo franchise. The recent Xbox Games Showcase dropped a gameplay video of the game. However, many were left unimpressed with the graphics and features. Now, some fans out there are of the opinion that one particular PS5 exclusive is far better than the sixth main entry in the Halo series.
Ratchet & Clank better than Halo: Infinite?
Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart was announced in the PS5 reveal event in June 2020. The game had everyone excited thanks to its fast-paced gameplay and visually stunning graphics. Fans debating that the new Ratchet & Clank game is better than the new Halo may seem controversial but this is how they have broken it down.
Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart is indeed developed for the next-gen console. The game comes optimized for next-gen hardware in consoles, including utilizing the best of the CPU, GPU, and SSD. The game also features high-resolution texture and improved ray tracing; making it one of a kind immersive experience.
The game follows the story of Ratchet & Clank as they explore new dimensions and travel across many settings. They fight many foes in order to save the universe from Dr. Nefarious, who is out to alter the entire reality.

On the other hand, Halo was criticized by many. Halo: Infinite does not feature the best graphics; one has seen and the developers have commented on the same on various occasions. Apparently, the game was meant to be so in order to revoke the classic Halo experience. Not everyone has taken it well as certain sections of the community wanted the game to have the best of both worlds; graphics and gameplay. It looks like fans might get just the latter.
Many even wanted a Battle Royale mode in Halo. That is highly unlikely to happen as well, looking at what the developers have in mind for the game.
Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart is indeed a game that has all it takes to beat Halo: Infinite. The reveal trailer showed what the game is capable of. It is a high-intense adventure game that could keep the players on the edge of their seats. Players choosing the game over Halo: Infinite is understandable given the design aspects of the former.
Not only is this a topic about games but also about which console is making the best use of the next-gen tech. Don’t get us wrong, there are many titles coming to Xbox and PS5 that are breathtaking; however, Halo was their flagship; something many had great expectations of.
