The Duchess of Cambridge along with Prince William re-defines grace attending the BAFTA in 2020. Walking in the Award function for 2020, the couple turned the evening even more special.
Furthermore, the BAFTA this year suggested that the guests dress sustainably. Hence, to make the Award function go carbon-neutral this year, many guests were seen complying with the suggestions. Therefore, the guests were to either to re-dress rather than going for new attires.
Complying to the suggestions, Kate Middleton embraced her gown by Alexander McQueen that she previously used in 2012. Honoring the floral diversity of the country, Kate’s dress was previously worn in the Malaysian state dinner.
Embracing the important occasions for two times, the gown had short sleeves along with the elegant embroidery works of golden. The Duchess paired her white gown with pumps by Jimmy Choo and clutch box by Anya Hindmarch Marano.
While the clutch was worth $595, the necklace and earrings have been estimated to be worth $17,000. Besides, the pumps were worth $675 and shined with the Duchess herself. The necklace and earrings accessorizing the Duchess’ gown have been made by Van Cleef and Arpels.
President of the BAFTA, Prince William was seen dressed in a black tuxedo beside the Duchess in the pictures. Moreover, the annual ceremony is to witness the President to give away the Fellowship Award. The royal couple has been to the awards a few instances.
