Man shot on Queens street on his birthday dies of injuries

A man who was shot on a Queens street on his 29th birthday last week has died of his injuries, cops said early Monday.

Kajawn Howard — whose birthday was Wednesday — was blasted in the stomach, and a 26-year-old man was shot in the back on Rockaway Boulevard near 134th Street in South Ozone Park around 11:40 that night, police said.

Howard was taken by private means to Jamaica Hospital Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead the next day, cops said.

EMS brought the younger victim to the same hospital, where he was listed in stable condition.

Police said last week that the shooting occurred during a dispute with a man wearing all blue at the corner — and had no further details Monday.
