A man was stabbed inside a Queens subway station early Friday, cops said.
The victim, whose age was not immediately released, was knifed around 6:15 a.m. in the Grand Avenue/Newtown M and R station in Elmhurst, police said.
He went to the Elmhurst Hospital Center with non-life-threatening injuries.
The motive for the attack was unclear.
Subway crime rates dropped in March compared to the previous month — but remain far higher than where they stood before the COVID-19 pandemic, according to newly released NYPD stats.
