"My Practice Partner Is Better Than Yours": Grigor Dimitrov Tells Serena Williams

The 2021 tennis season got off to a great start with the successful completion of the Australian Open 2021. There are a lot of tournaments lined up, and fans are really excited about them. Recently, fans saw tennis queen Serena Williams practicing with Grigor Dimitrov ahead of the upcoming challenges.

23-time Grand Slam champion Serena Williams and former World No. 3 Grigor Dimitrov are good friends. They love pulling each other’s leg and recently trained together on the court.

The two had a great training session, and Dimitrov updated fans by posting a video of the drills on his Instagram. Interestingly, the Bulgarian player also put up an amusing caption with the post.

“My practice partner is better than yours,” wrote Dimitrov in his caption and tagged Serena. He even put a G.O.A.T emoji after the caption, applauding Williams.

Williams wasn’t too far behind at being sarcastic as commented on Dimitrov’s post.

“Nope mine is better than yours,” replied Williams.

Clearly, Serena was referring to her partner Dimitrov and mentioned that he was a better hitting partner than herself. This makes it quite evident that the two really have fun not just on the court but off the court as well.

Surprisingly, it is not the first time since the two have hit the court together. Before this, the two trained together at the Australian Open 2019 and at the Rome Masters 2019 as well.

Both Grigor Dimitrov and Serena Williams played well at the Australian Open 2021. However, while Dimitrov fell to Aslan Karatsev in the quarters, Williams lost to Naomi Osaka in the semis of the tournament.

Fans still have huge expectations from both of them and want them to lift many titles this year. Will Williams and Dimitrov be able to win a major in 2021?
