Netflix to come out with 44 new shows

This is a piece of huge news for all the people who have been looking for something new on Netflix. Netflix is going to be launching 44 new Netflix Original Shows this year.

But that is not the main reason for it to be in the news this time. The reason is the release of Stranger Things season 3 that was released in July.

Stranger Things Season 3 became a hit as soon as it hit the market. Stranger Things became the most-watched show of the month and it didn’t even take long for that to happen.

People were anticipating this season for a long time and when the wait was over, they could not stop themselves from watching it and talking about it.

Now that July is almost over, people are anticipating the new seasons and series that would be released in August this year. Fans also got to witness the trailer of Witcher which would most probably be the next Game of Thrones for the fanatic lovers.

The trailer of Witcher was as fascinating as the game itself, but the fans would have to wait for the release in order to know if it actually does justice to the Game Series or not.

Many new seasons would be coming up in August and some of those are here as follows,

  • Upcoming seasons of Derry Girls and Patriot Act with Hasan Minhaj might just start on a good note as the fans are anticipating. The glow would be coming up with a new season on August 9th and even Mind Hunters are also coming up with a new season for there show and the fans are super excited about the release.
  • Basketball or Nothing, Dollar, The Naked Director would be some of the Netflix Original Shows that would be coming out in August along with Canon Busters which would be a Netflix Anime.

It’s okay to feel nervous before speaking in front of a large audience, Jenny Slate’s Netflix original “Stage Fright” is here to make you believe that you’re not alone. The actress and comedian Jenny Slate’s Netflix comedy special is set to drop next month.

The special will provide users with a view of the Saturday night live alum’s world, also including her clips from childhood and her interviews with her family, intermingled with her stand-up set.

Sources reveal that Slate will also share details on her visit to a midnight Catholic Mass and the ghosts that haunted her childhood home. Majorly her show is all about how she overcame and how one can just like her overcome stage fright. Her special comes with a purpose more than as a mode to entertain the audience, which in itself is a great thing.

It is said that Jenny Slate has been much open about her stage fright over the years. In one of her interviews with Vulture in 2016, she mentioned, “I look forward to being seen, and to accept that part of myself that needs attention and is willing to give something nice to get something nice. I look forward to being a little scared. I look forward to pushing myself to be confident because I get crazy stage fright, always have, and I feel proud every time I push through that”.

Without a doubt, one can say Jenny Slate is a courageous lady, for it takes guts to be open about one’s insecurities in front of the world. By disclosing this, Slate for sure would be helping out tons of people, who happen to go through the same situation now and then.

One will notice that several actors return for the Emmy Awards time and again, winning once or maybe twice. However, this year, you’ll find plenty of new Emmy nominees, debuting in the Supporting Actor and Outstanding Lead categories for both comedy and camera. Below listed are these men who are being nominated this year for their first-ever Emmys:

  • Stephen Root:

Root portrays the role of Monroe Funches, the of ex-hitman in the nominated series ‘Barry.’ He has been nominated for the 2019 Emmys under the category ‘Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series.’ Root has been a part of the show’s main star cast since its first season, however; is only being nominated for its second season.

  • Anthony Carrigan:

Carrigan is famous for his role as a gang leader of NOHO Hank in ‘Barry.’ He has been nominated for the category ‘Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series.’ He has worked in the show since its first season, however; wasn’t nominated previous year.

  • Billy Porter:

Porter, who portrays the role of MC Pray Tell in the series ‘Pose,’ has been nominated for ‘Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series.’ Though many may not recognize Porter from television, he is a skilled Broadway performer who has won a Tony award in the year 2013 for the film ‘Kinky Boots.’ In fact, he has also worked in shows like ‘American Horror Story: Apocalypse,’ and ‘The Get Down.’

  • Chris Sullivan:

Sullivan plays the role of Toby in the NBC drama series ‘This Is US.’ He has been in the show since the first season; however, with the third season, Sullivan is nominated for Emmys for ‘Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series.’

  • Alfie Allen:

Allen has worked in the show ‘Game of Thrones’ since its first season as the character Theon Greyjoy. However, this is the first year that he scored an Emmy nomination for the category ‘Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series.’

A few are new additions, such as Rachel Brosnahan from the show ‘The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel’, while some have been there for several years, such as Julia Louis-Dreyfuss from ‘Veep.’ However, let’s have a look at the women who have been nominated for the first time in this year’s Emmys:

  • Sian Clifford:

Clifford worked in the Amazon/BBC sitcom ‘Fleabag’ as Claire in both its seasons. She has been nominated for the show’s second season under ‘Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series.’

  • Sarah Goldberg:

  • Sophie Turner:

Famous as Jean Grey in the ‘X-men’ movies, Sophie Turner has been nominated for Emmy awards under the category of ‘Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series.’

  • Gwendoline Christie:

Under the category of ‘Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series,’ Gwendoline, who stars as ‘Brinne of Tarth’ in ‘Games of Thrones,’ has been nominated for first time in Emmys.

  • Fiona Shaw:

Shaw has been nominated for two categories i.e. for ‘Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series’ for the series ‘Killing Eve’ and ‘Outstanding Guest Actress in a Comedy Series’ for ‘Fleabag’.

  • Julia Garner:

For her role as ‘Ruth Langmore’ in ‘Ozark,’ Julia has been nominated under the category of ‘Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series.’
