President Trump to suspend immigration to US due to coronavirus

President Donald Trump said on Monday night that he would be temporarily suspending all immigration to the U.S. due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Trump announced this drastic measure in a post the social media platform he loves the most.

“In light of the attack from the Invisible Enemy, as well as the need to protect the jobs of our GREAT American Citizens, I will be signing an Executive Order to temporarily suspend immigration into the United States!” Trump tweeted

Trump went ahead to ban travelers from other countries as the deadly virus continued to spread across the country.

More than 42,000 people have died from the coronavirus in the U.S., which makes it the latest epicenter of the global pandemic.
