Everyone loves a happy throwback!

Entertainment personality Sean Borg delighted Real Housewives fans this week by sharing a throwback snapshot on Instagram of him posing with TV star Leilani Dowding, taken 14-years ago in West Hollywood, California.

The picture shows a more youthful pair smiling in their early days in Los Angeles at the famous Abbey restaurant and bar. The same picture was uploaded to his Twitter page too, with an edited, shorter version of the text.

“This one can’t get away from fame — it literally chases her,” Borg wrote, referring to Dowding who has given up being in the spotlight multiple times in her long and successful career.

The expats have been firm friends since Leilani’s days as a top model back in the UK. The pair separately moved to Los Angeles in 2005 and have lived there since.

The petit star flew back to live part-time in the UK recently to start filming ‘The Real Housewives of Cheshire.’ The new season had its premiere in Britain earlier this week on ITVbe.

Sean’s post struck a chord with his friends and fans. The photo received more than 1,000 likes from Instagram followers. Also, fans and famous friends hit the comments section to remark on their friendship.

One wrote: xx_jojo_b_xx: How come you two haven’t aged in 14 years??? #seriouslytho

To which Sean replied: Because we live in LA?

Leilani replied with a gracious: @xx_jojo_b_xx “thank you!!!!”

Even former ‘Coronation Street’ and ‘Queer as Folk’ star Craig Kelly @mrcraigkelly reacted with Emoji love heart eyes.

It is unclear if Mr. Kelly was aiming his comment at Sean, Leilani, or both.

The post came a day after the ex-“TMZ on TV” face revealed a clip of his Trivago commercial on Instagram. The post received over 20,000 views.

We reached out to Sean, and on the subject of his friendship with Leilani, he told News Brig: “I adore Leilani, I am not surprised she is now a “Real Housewife.

“We’ve been friends for a very long time. We have both had good times and bad stateside, and we have always gotten through them. Sometimes LA’s is not an easy place to live, but hanging with good friends like Leilani over the years makes it a much more fun place.”

On August 1, this year, The Sun newspaper exclusively revealed that Leilani had already started filming for the show.

And she’s even moved back home to join the show after years of living stateside in Los Angeles.

She agreed to be part of the ITVbe series alongside her rock star partner Billy Duffy of The Cult.

The 58-year-old music legend regularly tours the world with his band but is now based back in his home town of Manchester — meaning Leilani could sign up to join the popular reality TV series.

Leilani said recently: ‘After 15 years of living in LA, my partner Billy Duffy and I decided to move back to the UK.

‘We’ve decided to make Cheshire our home and we’re so excited to be back. When the opportunity arose to join The Real Housewives of Cheshire, I thought it would be so much fun, I jumped at the chance.’

The Real Housewives of Cheshire is on ITVBe (UK) at 9 pm on Monday nights.

Thank you to the neighbors who happened to be on a walk and found her and called 911. You will never understand. I would not have found her in time. My heart is forever grateful. Thank you to all of you who have sent prayers and messages and love. Brielle has been through so much already this year. She has proven how strong she is. I know she will pull through. #PrayForBrie

Drake Shared a Bunch of Photos of His and Sophie Brussaux’s Son Adonis

Weeks after Drake called Sophie Brussaux, the mother of his son, a “fluke,” the Toronto rapper shared a ton of photos of them and their 2-year-old son, Adonis, for the first time. Up until now, the only photos of Adonis shared with the world were the type of celeb baby pic where only the baby’s arm or leg shows. Those are cute and all, but obviously fans want to see what the kiddo actually looks like.

It seems like the weeks of self-isolation have made Drake want to spend more time with his family because he added a novel-length caption about connecting “to your own inner light.” He said, “I love and miss my beautiful family and friends and I can’t wait for the joyful day when we are all able to reunite.” The pictures he shared along with the caption are legit the cutest thing you’ll see all day, so definitely click through all of them.

After Drake posted these pics, his fans were shocked by how much Adonis looks like baby Drake and Drake’s mom, Sandi Graham. Trust, once you see the comparison photos, you won’t be able to unsee it:

These pics may feel like long time coming, but considering the way Adonis’ identity was revealed (in May 2018 by rapper Pusha-T amid an explosive feud) and how Drake’s team implied Sophie was using Adonis and Drake to get citizenship, it, uhh, makes sense that we’re just now seeing these.

Ken Shimura, ‘Japan’s Robin Williams,’ dies from coronavirus at 70

Beloved Japanese comedian Ken Shimura has passed away a week after contracting the coronavirus. He was 70.

The Tokyo native was revered in his home country, where he is a household name and has been called “Japan’s Robin Williams.”

“He was popular among a wide range of generations and was the No. 1 source of pride for locals,” Minoru Hasegawa, 69, a fellow native of Shimura’s home city, told the Japan Times.

Shimura was hospitalized on March 20 after developing a fever and being diagnosed with pneumonia. He tested positive for the virus on March 23, becoming the first Japanese celebrity to announce his infection, and to pass from the disease.

Shimura was known for his parodies and slapstick comedy bits, including the “mustache dance,” and a song about his home city of Higashimurayama in western Tokyo. Following his high school graduation, he joined the well-known Japanese comedy group the Drifters in 1974 — among Japan’s best-known comedy troupes, the group had opened for the Beatles when they performed in Japan in 1966. The group’s surviving members were too shocked to yet issue statements regarding Shimura’s death, their management tells The Japan Times.

“I am sure he was working hard with a sense of mission to deliver laughter to people,” a representative from Shimura’s agency says. “I don’t think he imagined he would die a death like this.”

The funnyman stayed active until his death, starring in numerous TV programs, and was to begin work on a movie in April. He was set to run the Tokyo Olympic torch relay representing Higashimurayama in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics until they were postponed until next year.l

“I cannot think anything now. I can no longer see Ken-chan. This is too sad,” Japanese singer Naoko Ken tweeted of Shimura’s death.

Another Tokyo resident bemoaned the laughter Shimura would no longer be able to bring. “He was our hero. I wish he could entertain us more,” says Toshio Takazawa, 70, who recalled going to see The Drifters live in his childhood.

Japan’s health ministry recorded 173 new cases of coronavirus on Sunday, with 68 in Tokyo, the biggest single-day spike for the capital, CNN reports.
