There will be no Pinstripe Bowl this season

The 2020 Pinstripe Bowl, which had been scheduled for Yankee Stadium on Dec. 29, has been canceled because of the recent increase in coronavirus cases that have led to travel restrictions and game cancellations, the Yankees announced.

The Pinstripe Bowl, played annually since 2010, becomes the eighth bowl to be canceled this season.

The Fenway Bowl, Holiday Bowl, Bahamas Bowl, Hawaii Bowl, Redbox Bowl, Quick Lane Bowl and Celebration Bowl also will not be played this postseason.
