LONDON (Reuters) – Britain enlarged its testing strategy Monday to permit anyone obsolete over five with COVID-19 symptoms to reserve a test to find out whether they possess the virus, health ministry Matt Hancock declared.

Hancock also stated the authorities had recruited 21, 000 personnel to work because of its tracing system made to come across people who’ve had contact with somebody with the coronavirus.

The enlarged testing programme and also track-and-trace system are crucial sections of Britain’s strategy to return to normality following a viral outbreak which has killed more 40, 000 individuals.

“We now have the elements we need to roll out our national test and trace service: the testing capacity, the tracing capability and the technology. Building that system is incredibly important,” Hancock said.

Britain has eased some of the restrictions implemented eight months ago to restrict the spread of this virus but stays on high alert in the event the speed of transmission starts to increase.

If how many cases continues to collapse, Britain expects to start re-opening schools and different pieces of its shuttered economy over the forthcoming months.
