Wayne County Confirms Fourth Positive COVID-19 Case

The Wayne County Health Department received notice Monday of a fourth positive case of COVID-19 in Wayne County. The individual tested positive but has been quarantined since March 18, 2020 and is no longer symptomatic. Per CDC guidelines, the individual will remain quarantined until they have received two negative tests more than 24 hours apart.

The County of Wayne, along with its community partners, will continue working to get as much updated information out to the public as possible to keep you informed, to test those that meet the state required criteria, and keep the community as safe as possible during this pandemic. The county asks the community to stay as calm as possible, practice social distancing and proper hand hygiene, and ensure you are receiving information from reputable sources.
